3 Tips for Better Sleep

1. Dim the Lights


This will help your body + brain realize it is nighttime and begin winding down for rest.


Diffuse essential oils or enjoy your favorite non-toxic candle for added ambiance.




2. Tech-free Time


Like the last tip about decreasing light, it is tremendously helpful to give our eyes and brains a break from the stimulation of technology, enabling deeper sleep + detoxification.


8 hours of sleep is a good number, but quality is HUGELY important, not just quantity.




3. Gratitude


Spend a couple minutes jotting down what you are grateful for as you are preparing for rest. Add this into your tech-free time!


Practicing gratitude helps our bodies shift out of the stress response and into the relaxation response.
